Keystone Electronics has met the increasing demands for water resistant and reliable AA battery holders with the introduction of our latest covered plastic battery holders.
These self-contained battery holders can be placed on or off a board, or between components, cards or anywhere within a case or piece of equipment as spaces allows. In addition to portability, these devices also feature coil spring contacts to compensate for variations in battery length and to securely hold batteries in place, assuring positive, low contact-resistance connections.
Engineered with sealing gasket to provide a watertight compartment for AA batteries, these self contained battery enclosures are IP65 rated for water, dust and other harsh environments. Manufactured for increased durability from molded ABS, the contacts are nickel plated spring steel. Included in these enclosures are 6″ long #26 AWG pre-tinned wire leads for simplified installation and a built in, sealed, on-off switch for additional product security.
Keystone Electronics offers UL recognized Fuse Clips with end stops to insure safety and design integrity.
Available for use with Cylindrical Fuses sizes 1AG thru 8AG, Midget and Solar Protection (SFP) style fuses. These low-profile, space saving Fuse Clips are UL recognized to make the UL product certification easier.
Suitable for applications from 6 to 30 Amps, this full line of fuse clips can be used in a variety of products and environments.

Keystone Electronics has introduced its latest line of SMT enclosure coin cell contacts. These new contacts provide a cost effective, dependable connection for coin cell batteries in self contained battery compartments.
These contacts require minimal board space and allow easy access for installation and removal of a coin cell battery within a battery enclosure. Ultra low profile and compact design make it ideal for small hand held controls, key fobs, personal medical devices, digital timers, and many industrial and consumer applications.
These new entries are manufactured from gold plated phosphor bronze, offering low contact resistance and assuring easy reflow soldering for a reliable solder joint. The spring tension of the contacts will adjust to all variations in battery heights for dependable connectivity. Contacts can accommodate coin cell batteries with diameters from 16mm and larger.
The company’s full line of battery hardware also consists of SMT and THM products including contacts, clips, holders, retainers and straps in assorted materials for coin cells and batteries. In addition to a comprehensive line of interconnect hardware and components, Keystone Electronics provides application engineering services for product modification and special design requirements, supported by pro-active stamping, machining and assembly operations.
A new series of “True” Zero ohm high current SMT jumpers designed to replace “Zero” ohm resistors, are the latest connectivity devices available from Keystone Electronics Corp.
Quickly and easily set-up, these new jumpers are uniquely suited as True zero ohm resistor replacements. Three resistor chip sizes are offered to simplify designs and footprint template compatibility: 0603 chip size (p/n 5110); 0805 chip size (p/n 5106) and 1206 chip size (p/n 5108).
Manufactured from Copper with Silver Plating, these jumpers provide a low impedance and circuit linkage with an identical footprint as a zero Ohm resistor. Ideal for high-density, high current PCB applications, the new jumpers are supplied on tape and reel per ANSI/EIA-481 standard for compatibility with most vacuum and mechanical pick & place assembly systems.
